Common Questions about CBD
Your Questions Answered...
Here in the final section of the book we’ll be answering some of the common questions we hear from our customers all the time. If we didn’t include a question, you can always reach out to us at The Owl Instinct for a more personalized inquiry.
Let’s get started!
Does CBD get you high?
CBD cannot get you high since it doesn’t have THC in it. THC is the psychoactive ingredient in cannabis that is responsible for the euphoria. CBD actually acts as a counterbalance. This means, even if you consume “marijuana” with high CBD content and low THC content, you would not be “high” for a long time.
CBD sold all over the country has 0.3% THC in it or less. This means that you would feel absolutely no euphoria associated with the THC content.
Is CBD legal?
CBD is 100% legal in all the 50 states of the United States. Any CBD product that contains 0.3% THC or less is legally allowed virtually everywhere in the world. If there is more THC in a mix, then it’s a cannabis oil and not a CBD oil. Cannabis oil is not sold in every state, only those with legal medical marijuana laws on the books. If you’re living in a state that doesn’t have medical marijuana laws on the books, you’re buying CBD oils.
Will CBD show up on a drug test?
Labs don’t test for CBD, they only test for THC. This means that even if you consume it right before doing a drug test, you will not have to worry about a thing. It won’t even produce a false positive. This is 100% legitimate no matter the dose of CBD you’re taking.
In some cases, when you take CBD sourced from marijuana, it could have THC in it. Thus, if you’re worried about a drug test, make sure you’re taking CBD oil from the hemp plant or just order your CBD from us.
Will CBD make me drowsy?
This depends largely on the dose and your organism. It can be energizing, but it may also be relaxing. While this might sound contradictory, it comes down to the dose you take.
IS CBD Safe for Pets
Yes, there are many vets that are using CBD with pets. It’s important you go to a vet that knows that they are doing. Similarly, to humans, the dose will be based on the weight of your animal. Talk to a CBD-friendly vet before giving CBD to your pets.

Our hopes with this book was to provide you with a general overview of the benefits, methods of consumption and other relative information to help you with your decision making processes.
